Who is responsible

The controller is POSADSKI SOFTWARE, programiranje in druge storitve, d.o.o.. Email support@posadskiy.com to use a right on this page. The privacy page states what that company processes. The address, the business register, the tax number, and the share capital are on the legal page.

Your rights

If the EU or UK GDPR applies to you, you can ask the controller for access, correction, deletion, restriction, and a portable copy of the personal data Grammarbar holds. You can object to processing based on legitimate interest, including security logs. Where a particular step relies on consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that already happened.

Grammarbar does not make a decision about you based solely on automated processing that produces a legal effect. The model only proposes a correction of text you selected.

How to ask

Email support@posadskiy.com with the subject “GDPR” and the address you used to register. Say which right you want to use. If you want deletion, say whether you also want the sign-in account closed.

We reply within one month. If the request is complex, we will write within that month to say we need up to two further months, and why. If we cannot tell which account is yours, we may ask for enough information to match it. We do not charge for a reasonable request.

What deletion removes

The account page has Delete Grammarbar data. That cancels the subscription so it cannot renew, turns Grammarbar off in the Mac app, and deletes the plan and the subscription id. The number of free rewrites already used, and the monthly fair-use count, stay with the sign-in account. Opening Grammarbar again does not grant the free rewrites again. Email support@posadskiy.com if you also want the sign-in account closed. We delete that sign-in account when you ask.

The seller of record keeps the payment record it is legally required to keep. That record is theirs. Google keeps a Google account you used to sign in; disconnecting Grammarbar does not delete the Google account. Text you already pasted into another app is in that app, not in Grammarbar.

A copy of your data

An access or portability request produces the data Grammarbar stores: the user id, the plan, the rewrite count, and the sign-in identifiers held for the account. It does not include selected sentences, because those are not stored.

Complaints

You can complain to the Slovenian Information Commissioner (Informacijski pooblaščenec), Dunajska cesta 22, 1000 Ljubljana, ip-rs.si. If you live elsewhere in the EU or in the UK, you can complain to the authority in your country. Writing to support@posadskiy.com first lets us fix the issue.
